El Dia De Los Muertos is a serious Mexican holiday in which we honor the dead. It is a time of remembrance and to honor the lives of our beloved who have passed. The view of death as a next step and as a celebration was taken in honor of the holiday in the design process. Bold, bright colors and playful illustrations allowed for a more fun approach that fully embraced the roots and holiday itself.
